T1J Posted April 21, 2010 #1 Share Posted April 21, 2010 We are considering a visit to the Monastery of Virgin Mary in Paleokastritsa. The HAL website says that there is a 1/2 mile walk uphill and that the tour is considered strenuous. Has anyone taken this tour recently that can describe the walking conditions in more detail? Thanks.
cruiser620 Posted April 24, 2010 #2 Share Posted April 24, 2010 We went there last summer, but I don't remember anything about it being strenuous. We drove there in a rental car. Maybe a tour bus has to park down the hillside or something. You can see in the picture that the taxi is right at the entrance.
