The Enchantment Casino is coinless, you get paper coupons.

All of Royal's casinos have a combination of both coin, and paperless machines. I personally refuse to sit at a machine that i cannot plug my coins in. It makes my casino money last longer!

I haven't been in any casino in a long time where the machines take coins. Paper money only. I go on lots of gambling trips-Atlantic City, Dover, De. and none of their machines will take coins anymore. Same with all the ships I've been on lately.

 

Personally it's fine with me. Dealing with coins gets your hands so dirty. And most of my money stays in the machine anyway:D.

We were on the Constellation (Celebrity) for 2 weeks in February and they still use coins. They are going in for a 2 week "facelift" the end of April and we were told there will be NO changes to the slot machines!

It's funny, CC posters seem to be the exact opposite of posters over at the Vegas forum I frequent. People there actually seek out the places that still pay out coin. I prefer the tickets myself.

 

My downfall during my casino visits on Enchantment was the quarter "skill" game. "I'm just going to drop one more, ok?"

Just got off the Jewel and most of the machines still spit out coins. I got $246.00 in coins it took forever and lots of buckets to carry!

Serenade had coins back in Feb, I loved that. Just wash your hands after you gamble if the dirty coins bother you. Glad to hear the Jewel still has coins!

I love the sound of the coins dropping, even if it's not my own machine. It's part of the ambiance of a casino. Unfortunately not many places have those jingling machines anymore.
