Sandy Lane Hotel day visit?

Does the Sandy Lane welcome/allow cruise ship visitors on a day trip? I would like to check it out, perhaps stop by for a drink or maybe lunch with an eye for a future stay? Any advice appreciated

We always make a point to visit some of the very elegant hotels during our cruise port stops. The Sandy Lane doesn't know whether you are a cruise ship passenger or a hotel guest. I think that would be a lovely excursion it's not too far from the cruise pier, have a cocktail by the pool and explore the grounds.

If you really want to be daring tell the front desk you are interested in seeing a room because you are thinking of changing hotels. One of my favorite pastimes. ;)
