Do cruise ships have the latest slot machines?

Hi everyone. I booked my cruise for 2 adults & 2 kids on NCL Jewel for a July cruise, my first on NCL and it will be my second cruise.

When I visit a casino, I always play the slot machines and the other adult with me is a slot machine freak. We're both itching to go to a casino and usually we got to Atlantic City 2 or 3 times a year. Since we are going on this cruise, we are holding out and saving the money so we can spend it in the casino.

Do all NCL cruise ships have the same slot machines? I was reading a posting on this site about the NCL Jade and it has one of my favorite machines - Jackpot Party - old version and the newer Village People Party.

Can anyone who has been on the Jewel tell me the names of the slot machines that they saw? There are so many new slot machines in Atlantic City that we both are itching to try.

Does NCL Jewel have any of the following slot machines: Wolf Run, Lucky Penny Penquin, Goldfish, DaVinci Diamond, Star Trek, Black Knight?

How often do cruise lines change their slot machines in order to keep their casinos current? Do they change their slot machines?

Thanks for any info.

Thank you for the info.

I have one other question, do you know what version of the Goldfish slots NCL Jewel has? The original Goldfish pays higher if you win. I just read that the 5th version of Goldfish which is the Race for the Gold hardly pays compared to the original or Goldfish2.

I read somewhere that Goldfish 1 (the first Goldfish) slot machine out pays 10,000 x your line bet, but on Race for the Gold it is 1,000 for 5 goldfish - the top symbol.

Thanks again.

Not sure what Goldfish version - it is a newer one with reels and video transposed on top of the reels. Had the random bonuses that popped up every now and then if you played the bonus bet. Not a real big payer, I think we hit it once or twice for $100 or so, most of the time it just took our money.
