Soprani Posted April 26, 2010 #1 Share Posted April 26, 2010 I am planning on washing clothes in the bathroom’s sink while on a cruise on the Freedom of the Seas next June. We will have an inside cabin located on deck 8. 1) Do you know if there is a sink stopper? 2) Does the shower stall has a pull-out clothesline? 3) Is there a hook on the bathroom’s door or on one of the walls of the shower stall? Thanks!
catnt2 Posted April 26, 2010 #2 Share Posted April 26, 2010 To answer your questions Yes the sinks have stopper......will they work? Maybe Yes there are clotheslines in the shower......will you be able to hang one or two items, yes...more than that, they will slide to the middle. Usually a wet swimsuit will be fine. Yes there are hooks on the bathroom door....usually 4. However, the clothes may take days to dry in a bathroom. The ship offers cleaning (washing/drying) service. Usually half way through the cruise, they'll give you a bag...fill it with laundry and have it washed for one price for the bag.

I think I will be fine as the clothes I intend to wash are lightweight and fast drying (ExOfficio’s shirts and underwear). However, I will probably bring a sink stopper.
