OrangeCallaLily Posted June 1, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 1, 2004 Recently booked a cruise that departs from Port Canveral. The cruise itinerary states that the cruise departs at 5:00PM. What time will boarding take place? Thanks!!!
ChristyW Posted June 1, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 1, 2004 The docs you receive will probably state that boarding starts at 2pm. You can show up anytime. We have always had good luck showing up between 10:30 and 11:00 and being on board within an hour. Christy Rhapsody Of The Seas - 10/08/00 - Mexican Riviera - Our 7th Anniversary Radiance Of The Seas - 06/28/03 - Alaska! - My parents 40th Anniversary Navigator Of The Seas - 10/04/03 - Western Caribbean - Our 10th Anniversary
Matisse05 Posted June 1, 2004 #3 Share Posted June 1, 2004 Some may start as early as 10:30-11:00. Usually they state a later time on documents, but embarkation starts early. If you can, get to the port at least by 10:30 before the droves of people arrive. Once onboard find your room, have lunch at the Windjammer, and explore the ship. Might also help to pack a change of clothes in a carryon, since you won't have your luggage until much late. RM Posted June 1, 2004 #4 Share Posted June 1, 2004 I wouldn't arrive for the Mariner before 11:00. They have been having a heck of a time getting the passengers off the ship early. They also won't let you park the car or enter the terminal.Lots of reports of that on these boards. Up next Mariner of the Seas Then Jewel of the Seas
