non formal night dining room attire

Hello we are sailing on the conquest on sunday for our honeymoon. We are wondering what the dress code is for men in the dining room on non formal evenings. Someone once told me that on carnival the men can wear jeans in the dining room on the texas ships as long as they are not the ripped kind. does anyone know if this is true??? Thank you in advance for your help.

on non-elegant nights on all Carnival ships, nice, unripped jeans are allowed. Also, long-length dress shorts are allowed on those nights as well.

I have seen jeans and shorts in the dining room so you should be fine.

I see you are from Laredo, how are things going there. I have stayed in Laredo for business many many times the last ten years until our plant in Mexico closed.

Had a good time there until recently, hope all is well.

For years and years I have worn nothing but jeans in the MDR on non-formal nights on Carnival. Texas or no Texas. Jeans have always been allowed.

 

Texas used to be an exception for NCL, due to "Texas Culture", but they don't sail from Texas these days, anywho.
