alaskaboy2 Posted May 1, 2010 #1 Share Posted May 1, 2010 She offered to take us from a balcony room to a suite for an additional $480 (total). Good deal? Will they offer a better deal? Can I negotiate (and advice on where to end up)? Cruise is on the Glory 6/6. Thanks.

poobears Posted May 1, 2010 #4 Share Posted May 1, 2010 Also look for yourself on the site and see how much you'd have to pay to upgrade to that same category of room they offered. Sometimes their offer isn't much cheaper than just a regular upgrade. It would have to be a very nice category of suite to pay that much IMO
49holding Posted May 1, 2010 #5 Share Posted May 1, 2010 I am on that same sailing..recently paid an extra $35 to &55 pp to upgrade our 3 cabins ( senior and past pass rate) from outside to balcony..one way to look at it is to break the price difference down per nite...is having a bigger cabin worth $120 more per nite?? jenms2000 Posted May 1, 2010 #6 Share Posted May 1, 2010 while you're checking the rate, see how may suites are left. remember you'll get VIP embarkation with a suite. if there aren't many left, you might want to consider their offer.:)
