Need advice: Coral suites

I have a VS gty cabin on the Coral Princess for May 2006. The only higher catagory is the PS.

 

Here's my confusion - the less expensive VS shows to be 470 sq ft. The PS shows a range of 300+ to 470. It wouldn't seem like much of an upgrade to end up in a smaller cabin.

 

Can someone who has been in the Coral suites please let me know if I should just book into a specific VS or wait for a possible upgrade?

The rooms are identical, only the location is different.. The 470 sq ft figure includes the balcony. The room itself is a little over 300 sq ft..

Thanks for the reply. Do you know if any of the VS are somehow better than the rest?

I stayed in a VS and my parents stayed in a PS in April. There is no difference, just the location. I would book a VS, no need to spend the extra money.

We had D701 and D703 on the Coral and thought the location was great. Especially the back deck on the Dolphin Deck, nobody goes there and it is a nice quiet place to watch the wake or going though the Canal. It is a walk all the time but you need the exercise after all the food and drink;)

I think there are only 6 VS on the Coral and 10 PS. I guess I could just wait and see what they assign me since the locations are either midship or aft. (I do love aft however!) This is a very short repo cruise so the suite is just for the fun of it!
