docboy88 Posted May 1, 2010 #1 Share Posted May 1, 2010 Has anyone been to Cahuita national park? Does the park have any restaurants or place to buy food on it? Are there bathrooms? Are there good places to go swimming and snorkel? What is the black and white sand like? How far is the park from the pier?

kandlwed Posted May 2, 2010 #3 Share Posted May 2, 2010 We are looking into going there as well. I have been reading up on it online and it looks beautiful. Any information from anyone that has been there would be great. I am really interested in hiking around there and getting in snorkeling for my husband. cruisin zonies Posted May 3, 2010 #4 Share Posted May 3, 2010 http://costa-rica-guide.com/Natural/Cahuita.html#when http://www.costaricabureau.com/nationalparks/cahuita.htm I'm investigating myself because we are heading that way to go to the Jaguar Rescue Center and wanted another nearby attraction. I understand it is about 1 hour from the port in Limon. $40 US each way by cab as told by the people at JRC. Above is a link that will give you some insight into the park-cost, activities, etc.

sumsum Posted August 15, 2010 #9 Share Posted August 15, 2010 I am wondering if you did the Cahuita national Park? I am going to Costa Rica and would like to do a beach. The black and white sand sounds great. I am also wondering if they have a bar and restaurant in walking distance. Thank you
