bellagirl Posted May 5, 2010 #1 Share Posted May 5, 2010 Hi-We have just booked this cruise and one of our dreams is to see the Taj Mahal at the end of the cruise. Through Deepa at mumbai magic,we have gotten a great itinerary from her that incl. overnight accomodations in delhi at a lovely b&b plus air -conditioned train ride from delhi-agra. She is working on the flights now from mumbai to delhi and I should have the prices on those shortly. If anyone is interested, you can reach me here on CC boards or at missvanna at hotmail dot com. :) Shelly

bellagirl Posted July 4, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted July 4, 2010 HI-Nice to hear from you! unfortunately,I have no tips for you as we are in the same boat as you:D. Sailed before many times but never with Silverseas. What impressed me most was the itinerary and the fact that it's all-inclusive--no paying extra for this and that. Of course,as my husband points out, nothing is truly for 'free",but at least I'm not signing my life away every time i want a specialty coffee. Our itinerary with Mumbai Magic is complete and I'm very excited about it. Deepa is a true professional at what she does. What hotel,if any,are you staying in in mumbai? We are thinking of booking the Arabian CourtyardHotel and Spa in Dubai. Do you know anything about this hotel? Where are you staying? We plan on staying in Dubai for 4 days pre-cruise. Ellizak Posted July 17, 2010 #4 Share Posted July 17, 2010 Hi Shelly We are flying into Dubai 30th November and staying with friends. We have been to Dubai many times but don't have any feedback regarding your hotel. I would suggest checking out tripvisor website which is usual good for a little research. We usually go to the Le Meridian (the one near airport) for dinner as this has a good choice of resturants. One great tip I would advise is to buy the Entertainer book. This is full of 2 for 1 coupons which are good for the big red tourist bus, dune safari including resturants etc. This costs around $50 but I understand you can now buy individual sections "kids", "family" "night life" etc. Our friends always have one ready for when visitors stay as this saves us so much money - why pay full price! Following the cruise we are returning to Dubai to spend a further 2 nights with friends to celebrate my birthday. Looking forward to this cruise very much.
