frcia Posted May 12, 2010 #1 Share Posted May 12, 2010 We are sailing on POA in June, can you make advanced reservations in the Specialty restaurants in advance? I do not see any place on the web site for this. Thanks in advance.
Ms belp Posted May 12, 2010 #2 Share Posted May 12, 2010 In our experience, we have been able to make reservations once we board the ship but not before. Hawaii, we plan on going next year on my birthday.:)
LJH1 Posted May 12, 2010 #3 Share Posted May 12, 2010 I also think that for Hawaii cruise its probably a good thing that you can't book in advance because I think there would be too many cancellations and no show due to Hawii being so port intensive. I also know from past cruise to Hawaii that there were nights that we were just so tired we just wanted a quick bite because the next day was another early start to a long day. Also you need to know that if you don't cancel your reservation I think half hour prior you will be charged the surcharge. So its another reason to not wanting to book to far in advance. beachchick Posted May 12, 2010 #4 Share Posted May 12, 2010 Specialty restaurants cannot be booked before the cruise. If you're in an inside or oceanview, you can make reservations 24 hours in advance; for balcony and mini-suites, it's 48 hours; for full suites, it's any time and the concierge will handle the reservations. beachchick
