Maybaybie10 Posted May 12, 2010 #1 Share Posted May 12, 2010 I am booking tomorrow and I am soooooo excited. I think I may be able to relax and not be obsessed about this cruise if I get it booked (doubtful, but maybe)! I am going to my TA tomorrow and have to book 6 staterooms (2 inside, 2 outside, and 2 balcony). I have been studying my deck plans and trying to decide what I'd like to ask for, but I'd hate to decide only to go in there and have her tell me they are already booked. Is there any way to tell before I go to the TA if 'my' staterooms are taken or should I just have a backup plan in case? Also I see a lot of people saying what capacity their ship is booked at (70%, 30%, 50% booked already)...how do you figure that out? Is that something the TA tells you or is there some secret I don't know about yet? Thanks in advance....so excited I can't stand it!!! rbp4cruise Posted May 12, 2010 #2 Share Posted May 12, 2010 you can go to RCI website and go to booking, you will see what rooms are available.
MarkSeattle Posted May 12, 2010 #3 Share Posted May 12, 2010 If you go to the RC website and start a reservation, you can get to the point where you choose cabins before the reservation is finished; so you can change categories, decks, etc. and see if a cabin is on the list for you to pick (or type in the cabin number and it will say if it's available or not)
Maybaybie10 Posted May 12, 2010 Author #4 Share Posted May 12, 2010 I have been looking at deck plans until my eyes hurt and all the gross pukey green colors are running together, so I guess I'll just ask the experts. Is there a deck that has a balcony (preferably a hump), an ocean view, and an inside quad at midship all on the same deck? If there is, I haven't located it yet! I don't know if I need E's or D's (whatever is cheapest) for balconies or I's or some other letter for the ocean view (cheapest as well). Hopefully my TA will be able to help because I don't think I can look at another deck plan until at least tomorrow morning!! Thanks all!
