second city actors names from jewel

Sailed the Jewel on 5/1. Does anyone know the names of the actors from Second City that were on the Jewel?

I was on that same sailing. Great week!

 

The girl with the dark hair and glasses was Kate Cohen. I remember the blonde haired girl's first name was Clarissa and last name started with a B I think, but can't remember it. One of the guys was Kevin (don't know his last name either). Don't recall the name of other one.

How was your suite experience? I have been following all of your posts prior to your cruise and have been anxiously awaiting your review.

5/1 Jewel Sailing. The suite life is soooooo spoiling. It will be hard to go back to a normal Balcony room again. It starts as soon as you get to the pier. You go into a line for penthouse and above cabins. Right to the counter and check in. Then they escort you to the VIP room at the terminal where they have juice, water and a variety of cookies waiting for you. Someone is there to give you your Ship Daily for that day. They also give you a map of the ship and all information about excursions. Then your conseiure comes to meet you and give you your keys. Our was Adrian. Adrian told us that anything we need on the ship, just give him a call from dinner reservations, excursions or anything personnal, he will take care of. From there he introduced us to our Butler Arnie who escorted us to our cabin. What a cabin!!! It was great. Dining area, living room, seperate kids room, private main bedroom, and the Bathroom is HUGE !!! Windows that go out to the ocean from the shower and large tub. Plus a TV above the tub. I would take a shower and watch sports center on the TV at the same time. Awesome

 

Arnie our butler could not do enough for us. He catered to our every whim and did some on his own. He is Phillipino. I told him that I had a very close friend that was Phillipino that use to bring me Phillipino food. One night he brought me Phillipino food to the cabin that he made HIMSELF !

Another day he asked me what was our plans today and we told him that another couple that was sailing with us was coming up to play some cards. Arnie brought on his own a food cart filled with finger sandwiches, pizza, potato chips & snacks. This is the kind of treatment we had all week with Arnie. Arnie said he was a temporary butler but was hoping this position became permenant. If NCL is reading this Arnie would be a plus for all of us cruisers. He makes you want to come back to NCL.

 

Adrian made sure we had whatever table we wanted at dinner and at the time we preferred. We liked sitting by the window in the main dinning room. The table was there waiting for us. Never waited in line. When we went to Great Stirrup Cay, the line to board the tenders was three levels deep. I called Adrian and he said to meet us on Deck 6 by the bars. He took us through a door that put us in the working area of the ship. He picked up my 6 yr old granddaughter and carried her down 2 flights of stairs, opened another door and we were boarding the tender.

 

Plus just the platinum color key card made everyone aware that you were in a suite. The service was the best I have ever had. Even Hotel Director John O'Hara and Melissa made sure this cruise would be the cruise of a lifetime. (Thank you guys)

 

We were also invited to a VIP party on the Villa Deck. Drinks included. We met the head staff and the Captain. Even the entertainers from Second City were there and after that day it was a friendly greeting from them everytime we passed them on the ship.

 

Cagneys breakfast and lunch is also pretty special. It is a non rushed feeling and you can sit down and take your time. But I do have to say. I did have lunch at the buffet a few times and the food there was DELICIOUS. So I did not make it to Cagneys every day. But knowing it was there for you was a very nice touch.

 

NCL really makes you feel like you are part of their family. Will I sail in a Suite again??? It will always depend on my money situation at that time but if it is swingable...........ABSOLUTELY !!!!!!!!

Did you get an upsell? We did. we went from mini suite to PH. We loved it but didnt attend the Cocktail party and im kicking myself. the only negative was where our room was positioned. a lot of noise from the pool table and washing of the decks at 2 and 3am. not cool.

 

 

I will now know to go to the cocktail party from now on. Bummer!!!!!

Yes we did upsell.... Have to watch the noise on the left side of the ship also. My sister in law had the GYM right above them....Boom boom boom.
