Highlights from our recent trip on the Grandeur on May 8, 2010

This was a great short vacation for us, and I jotted down some highlights of the trip before I forget.

 

The wine tasting event, it was informative and we meet some great people. Casey and Michael from IN and Josie and Cameron from FL.

 

Sipping “Grande Margaritas” in the Centrum. Seek out Bruno, he is a delight!

 

After dinner dancing in the Viking Crown Lounge.

Loved the serene Solarium pool

 

Key West- frozen key lime pie, on a stick, dipped in chocolate, Cuban food from El Siboney, new bathing suit from Graffiti and a new wallet from the Coach outlet.

 

Coco Cay – crazy seagull swooped down and stole my hotdog.

 

Cozumel – margaritas with an ocean view, awesome. But no, I don’t want your “Cuban cigars.”

 

The Fort Lauderdale water taxi is awesome, great way to see the city. Reserve some time for happy hour at Charley’s Crab.

 

:(We avoided the Windjammer as much as possible and even renamed it the Golden Corral!
