lib123 Posted February 1, 2005 #1 Share Posted February 1, 2005 Hoping I can seek some information from anyone that might have used Bananarama while on Roatan. My husband is looking to book a dive with either Bananarama or with Subway watersports. They have both been great with quick responses to questions. We are looking to have one person dive and myself and our 3 children snorkel while he is doing so. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. thedowg2 Posted February 1, 2005 #2 Share Posted February 1, 2005 My wife and I rented snorkel equipment from Bananarama last Feb. The guy behind the counter wasn't great, nor did he turn us off. The beach that they are on was some of the best snorkeling I've ever experienced...
emmama Posted March 2, 2005 #3 Share Posted March 2, 2005 In Nov/03 my husband and I decided to get our scuba certification while in different ports of call. Our theory test and second open water were done with Banarama. They were extremely helpful in helping us set this up, were waiting at the port for us and made the whole teaching, testing/ certifying experience wonderful. In fact we have just emailed them about our visit March 11th. Hope this helps.
PQ Posted March 13, 2005 #4 Share Posted March 13, 2005 We rented snorkel gear from Bananrama last year, they were very helpful. We even discussed returning and doing a "learn to dive" package with them.
Rare JennKach Posted March 19, 2005 #5 Share Posted March 19, 2005 My husband did two dives with Bananarama and had a great experience. First dive had one other diver and the second he was the only one. I snorkeled and took pictures of him from above (no charge for me to go along). These were shore dives and were awesome! ZydeDiverDC Posted March 21, 2005 #6 Share Posted March 21, 2005 Hello, my best friend actually stayed there 2 yrs ago, said he had a great time, people were more "funky" and enjoyed the originality of it all. He still loves Anthony's Keys as primo and enjoyed Inn of the Last Resort as well. Las Rojas < sp? > he didn't say much ... Hope this helps! I would visit it myself just on his description of all the fun he had!
