Wine cards

What is the current situation with respect to wine cards? I purchased one in advance of my recent cruise, but when it was exhausted and I tried to replace it on board during the cruise, the wine steward said I couldn't. If I understood him correctly they might still be available on shore. Does anyone know? Thanks.

By "on shore" I presume he meant by ordering it in advance, because they are still selling them for my Sep cruise. Soon I believe all ships will be going to the new $50 or $100 universal beverage card only.

Just of the Noordam last week no wine cards. The new beverage cards ore good for all

beverages the $100 card sells for $90 the $50 for $45. Yoc can also buy a $50 card that is just good for non alcoholic beverages also $45.
