Sabatinis and rough waters

I was reading some posts where most agreed embarkation night is often very rough with crossing through the currents from Ft Lauderdale to Princess Cay. We had pretty much decided to try to get Sabatinis reservations for the night of embarkation. We don't get seasick but the couple we are taking with us (their first cruise) do. Think it would be a mistake to try Sabatinis on an evening we know will likely be rough? What about the evning we're at Princess Cay? Would that be better? Thanks all.

I think you'll also find an equal number of people who say they've only experienced calm waters between Ft Lauderdale and Princess Cay.

(myself included).

It's really just luck of the draw. Book it when you feel like it. You can't predict when you'll encounter rough water.

(ok technically you can, but heck that ain't any fun)
