Looking for fun things to do and see in nassau and freeport. Would like to go to the beach and also do other things . Does anyone know anything about the glass bottom boat tours. I s it easy to get on and off the boat in these ports? We are going on the Carnival Pride in July. Thanks

We're traveling with a little one in August. We're planning on the following kid friendly activities:

  • Nassau: Seaworld Explorer (more expensive than a glass bottom boat, but you get more of a "submarine like" experience, instead of looking straight down at windows. We've also done the Atlantis in previous visits, which is great for kids.

  • Freeport: Grand Bahama Coastal Cruise and shopping: It's a one hour cruise along the coast to Lucaya Marketplace, with a return by bus. Yes, you can take an inexpensive cab ride to the Lucaya Marketplace, but we've been here so many times that we want to change things a bit by taking the coastal cruise instead of a cab.

Have a GREAT time
