Questions for Ryndam

We haven't been on HAL since the Westerdam in Jan. 1999. We like to dress casually that's why we have been doing Princess and NCL and also because of the anytime dining, but we loved HAL and want to go again. Also we will be doing our snowbird thing in Clearwater for the winter and the Tampa port is just a taxi ride away. So, is the Lido Buffet open for dinner and do we need to bring dressy attire or is resort casual ok?

Lido Restaurant is open for dinner and bascially has the same menu as the Main Dining Room each night. The Lido is very casual even on formal nights. On our recent 33 day Rotterdam cruise to the South Pacific, 25% of the passengers ate at the Lido Restaurant. Passengers worn shorts, t shirts, flip flops, casual attire and even dressy.

You need at least a coat & tie or a dress for formal nights in the MDR.

P.S. We live in Odessa, Fl, just 10 miles from Clearwater Beach
