kiefaber455 Posted May 20, 2010 #1 Share Posted May 20, 2010 Can fly into JFK for about half the price we can fly into Newark--a savings of about $150-- but, how easy is it to get from JFK to Cape Liberty and what's the cost? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

There are shuttles going from JFK to EWR, then car service from EWR to the port which may save you some money. But again, not much.
GTJ Posted May 21, 2010 #3 Share Posted May 21, 2010 As was pointed out, it is expensive by taxi from JFK to Cape Liberty. But don't look at the full cost of the ride . . . compare that cost with the cost of a taxi from EWR to Cape Liberty, and determine if the difference in taxi fares is worth the $150 air fare savings. I generally don't use taxis if at all possible, but my understanding is that the EWR to Cape Liberty taxi fare is about $50 each way. If that is indeed the case, then you'll likely have to spend an additional $60 to $90 each way to go by taxi to and from JFK . . . just about the same as your air fare savings.
