Creole Girl Posted May 20, 2010 #1 Share Posted May 20, 2010 I love conch salad and I had some at the summer Junkanoo festival last July. I will be there again soon and would like to know if there are any places that you know of (stands) that have good salad. I remember seeing a Food Network special once for Big Dog's Conch Salad Stand, but I am not sure which part of the island (Nassau) it is on. Thanks

Thanks Big Dogs is at the Fish Fry (arawak Cay). easy to get to.. it's about a 15 minute walk west of downtown.. or a quick cab/jitney ride. Best Conch Salad can be found either at the Fish fry or Potters Cay. They keep it authentic. At the fish fry, you'll find guys making it fresh right in front of you. Frank12 Posted May 21, 2010 #3 Share Posted May 21, 2010 I've had it at Goldies and at Candies. Both at the Fish Fry, both made in front of you and both delicious!

Creole Girl Posted May 21, 2010 Author #5 Share Posted May 21, 2010 Thank you! I can't wait. It was delicious this past summer. I have had conch fritters before as well and that was good as well. My husband had that everyday when we were in St. Thomas. I prefer the conch salad. Thank you for your replies.
