Roll Call: Kobe to Shanghai; Seabourn Pride 6/23/10

We recently booked this cruise and are looking forward to making contact with others sailing this itinerary!

 

We are also hopeful for advise about where to stay in Osaka prior to sailing from Kobe. :confused: Seabourn is booking at the Ritz. Are there other good options for a family of three? (We land at ITM [itami Airport] on June 19th to allow for post-flight recovery and pre-cruise sightseeing.)

 

Not only is this is our first time in this part of the world, this is also our first time on Seabourn. We are really looking forward to it! :D

Hello! We're on the same cruise. Never been to Asia so really excited. We are using Seabourn air so they have us flying in the day before and are staying at the Ritz. Hoping we can do a bit of sight-seeing the next day before boarding. You might try Trip Advisor forum on Asia for hotel suggestions.

We too will be on this trip. We are leaving June 18 and using Seabourn air. On arrival in Oasaka we will go to Kyoto and spend three nights there for some land sightseeing and then on to Kobe for one night before boarding on the 23rd. Starting to check the weather and it appears Japan and Korea will be comfortable but China could be much warmer. We love this part of the world and especially on Seabourn triplets. The reason we are extending in Japan is I have never been there but my husband was stationed there when in the Navy. Korea is indeed interesting as is China. Looking forward to meeting everyone. You will love Seabourn.

we are staying in Osaka also,will stay at the Swissotel Nankai Osaka. Will need a good night sleep. Maybe all the helpful people that are on cc message board can all get together for a drink. Jordanone
