Less than 2 weeks away and need to make changes. Help!

It has just come to my attention that my son's girlfriend will not be able to go on our scheduled cruise. I do have insurance, but I wanted to know if someone can take her place. Is it too late to make changes? We have 3 separate rooms in our reservation. We had 6 now we have 5.

If you want to put someone else in her place, you should call RCI asap. If they allow it, it will probably cost $ for the change. Also, depending on your insurance, there usually has to be some medical issue or family emergency to be covered. We had to cancel a Vegas trip due to a hurricane heading to our area, and the insurance was not going to pay because we did not have damage from the storm. As it turns out, dh's business was damaged, so they ended up paying once I sent proof.

Hi, Per RCI website, search name change... You can change up to 24 hours before the cruise and there is a 35 fee....Maureen

I have done name changes often and never been charged a fee. This most be very new. You can change up to 3 days in advance. 24 hours is too late because the homeland security rules.
