sandeem Posted February 2, 2005 #1 Share Posted February 2, 2005 I've read about a $3.95 charge for food, drinks extra and also read somewhere that food is no longer $3.95, just pay for sodas and shakes. Could someone clear this up for me? Thanks
BornToTrave; Posted February 2, 2005 #2 Share Posted February 2, 2005 We were on AOS last week. There is a $3.95 per person cover charge for Johnny Rockets. Also, milk shakes cost extra.
rjg41 Posted February 2, 2005 #3 Share Posted February 2, 2005 The $3.95/person/visit is a cover charge and entitles you to all the food you want. Soft drinks are extra even with a soda sticker unless that changed again recently. Of course, milk shakes are extra. For a charge, take out is also available. For just a shake to go you just pay the shake cost. Depending on the crowd, the JR manager may allow people to sit for just milk shakes without the $3.95 charge but should you wish food you get the $3.95 charge. Crown and Anchor members get a coupon for one free visit during the cruise but there is still a charge for beverages.
sandeem Posted February 2, 2005 Author #4 Share Posted February 2, 2005 thanks. My 13 y.o. will be disappointed. She was excited about eating chili cheese fries for free daily. She found a website where it said charges had been dropped for JR's food. We have sailed with RCCL before, but never one with a JR restaurant. Going on Voyager in 6 weeks. Thanks too for coupon tip.
