donnysmom Posted May 27, 2010 #1 Share Posted May 27, 2010 Is there a time change in Bermuda? I'm in Eastern Daylight Time zone.
EOS-User Posted May 27, 2010 #2 Share Posted May 27, 2010 Yes; Bermuda is 1 hour ahead of East Coast; so, if it's 12:00 noon East Coast, it's 13:00 or 1 PM in BDA.

ShipsAreTheBest Posted May 27, 2010 #5 Share Posted May 27, 2010 So when the ship docks in Bermuda, it will be Bermuda time? ....I guess so,duh!... Some ships that do a day stop don't bother with the time change, especially if they are continuing to a port in the Eastern Time zone. They will tell you on board. The good news is since Bermuda is 1 hour ahead, if you look at a clock while in Bermuda and rush back to the ship, you will be an hour early not late :) For those ships that go on the seven day cruises and stay a few days, you typically advance the clocks the first night on the ship (you'll lose an hour's sleep, but that's OK, it's a sea day and you can sleep in. ;) On the return, you will go back one hour the last night on board, giving you an extra hour to party! It all works out!
