booking shore excursions online

a couple days ago I booked a couple shore excursions online on the carnival website, it all went through and showed the money taken out of my account online and all that. Just now I was checking my account again and it looks like the money had been put back in and no sign of carnival taking it out was on my account history, I looked at my information on carnivals site and it still looks like the excursions are booked under 'my orders' so I'm very confused, has this happened to anyone else?

Call Carnival directly for clarification. The times I've booked my excursions online have always been without incident.
