Both ships are headed down in the fall of 2011; any one know the dates and itinerary? Sea sails a return voyage from Sydney on April 15,2012, and an unknown date for Sapphire. Would like to know the itinerary for the north bounds as well. Help???

What about the west coast?

The Dawn or Sun will relocate to Freo (Freemantle) for the Winter months, whilst the other will do its RTW cruise.

Whilst the Sea and Sapphire will either then be stationed then in Europe or Alaska - the usual pattern.

I wish though we could get a year round Princess ship to be based in Sydney......I keep wishing

Princess persist in scheduling cruises from Sydney & Melbourne to Northern Queensland and the South Pacific in the Australian Summer when it is as hot as hell there, and no one wants to go . Then they wonder why loadings are poor . But where are these cruises in the Australian winter months when people really want to get away from the South and cold to the warmer climates in Queensland and the South Pacific . For example especially with Melbourne & Hobart (Tasmania) Princess should schedule in June and July consecutive round trips departing from Melbourne that go Melbourne - Brisbane - Barrier Reef - Cairns - New Caledonia - Vanuatu - Sydney - Hobart - Melbourne with pax being able to join in both Melbourne and Hobart . Such a circuit would be as popular as New Zealand is in the Summer months .
