Anniversary Gift for a HA Cruise, Have questions

Our Son and DIL are giving us a Mexican Riviera Cruise and since I have only sailed Celebrity I know nothing about HAL. The ship would be the Oosterdam out of San Diego and would most likely be in Feb 11.

 

I would appreciate any info on cabin locations. On Celebrity we like CC or 1A mid to aft cabins. We want cabins above and below and do not want to be accross from service areas.

 

They would be traveling along with their to be 22 month old son.

 

Thanks for any info to help us decide cabin locations.
