Ace Rent a Car experience?

Does anyone have any experience with Ace Rent a Car? We are cruising aboard the Carnival Victory and will be staying 3 extra days after the cruise. So we were looking for a car rental office near the cruise pier and a company that would allow us to drop the car off at the airport when we fly out. Ace has a nearby office that opens at 8:00 a.m. and will pick you up at the cruise terminal when you call them. They also allow the airport drop-off.

 

I read that Hertz has a drop off at the Sheraton Old San Juan. Does anyone know if you can initiate a Hertz rental there, then drop if off at the airport?

I do not have any experience renting cars in San Jaun. But, in general, you will get a better price renting at the airport. It's not that far away from the cruise pier. You will need to end up at the airport anyways at the end of your rental. So you might as well pay for a cab on the day you pick up the car, instead of taking a cab from the downtown car rental location to the airport on the last day.
