Hi guys - has anyone got any recommendations of what to do while visiting each port in Fiji? We are visiting in Feb 2010 on Rhapsody. :D

Hi guys - has anyone got any recommendations of what to do while visiting each port in Fiji? We are visiting in Feb 2010 on Rhapsody. :D

 

we were in fiji last april with the volendam. first stop was in lautoka. the wheather was bad, therefore we took a taxi to first landing resort. this was disappointed, because we think there will be a beautiful beach, but it was not so. no chance for swimming. we drive back to lautoka, it was raining very strong and the sightseeing in the city was only a little market with vegetables. next stop in suva, this was the change with dravuni island, because it was raining cat and dogs yet. we went in the city and look around, but there were only big shopping centers. in the afternoon the rain stopped and we went to the fiji museum not so interesting. all in all look for a beach, perhaps you have better weather.
