Sag13 Posted June 4, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 4, 2010 Has anyone used Bob's Limos and Tours for any transfers or tours in Rome? I received a quote from them for transfer from the Civitavecchia port, a four hour tour of Rome, and a drop off at our hotel in Fiumicino. They seemed reasonable, but are they reliable? notentirelynormal Posted June 4, 2010 #2 Share Posted June 4, 2010 You'll get a better answer to your question if you ask this on the Italy board. There will be cruisers from all the different lines there with so much more experience. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=
boating girl Posted June 4, 2010 #3 Share Posted June 4, 2010 They are very reliable. We used them 5 different times while in Italy. We were 2 couples and found them less expensive than ship transfers and tours because we split the cost. Every driver was impeccably dressed with exquisite manners. We had a driver for a full day when we docked at Livorno; we spent the day touring the Tuscany area. I can't speak highly enough of them. We had one glitch which was not their fault; the cruise line changed their docking. I called them at 8 PM in the evening to tell them and Bob answered the phone and said it would be no problem to change the pick up in the morning. Bob is a New Yorker who has lived in Italy for 25-30 years. Have a wonderful trip!
