curacao Posted June 16, 2010 #2 Share Posted June 16, 2010 I will be in Curacao for the first time on my anniversary cruise next April. We want to do an excursion that would take us to the highlights of the island as stated above we do not want one that includes beach time. Thanks in advance:) They have the Hato Caves, but that does not take long to go thru that. (history of the people/slaves who live/lived on the island.)they have the Ostrich and Aloe Vera farms, but that does not take long either, unless you hang out at the Ostrich Farm and drink wine with their wonderful wine selection. There is also the Museum area at the Kura Hurlanda, which is within walking distance from the pier. there is also the Skeka (?) Boka Park on the north side. No beaches there, but the water is awesome to watch .. it hits the land and splashes upward 5-6 stories high. Awesome picture taking area. I would suggest to grab a cabbie for the day. curacao Posted June 29, 2010 #6 Share Posted June 29, 2010 Try going on curacao.com Curacao-actief has tours Hey, CuracaoQueen. We need to go down there and start our own tour-guide service.......our own parasailing company and water toy rentals...stuff that Americans are used to seeing. What an idea.
