hearts12 Posted June 8, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 8, 2010 Does anyone know how the anytime dining works on the Glory? There are two dining rooms, is one just for the anytime dining, or do they have a certain amount of tables set aside in each one. :o
ChefSusan Posted June 8, 2010 #2 Share Posted June 8, 2010 The top floor of the Golden Dining Room (Deck 4) is the location for Glory's Anytime Dining. You go there anytime between 5:45pm and 9:00pm, and are seated by yourselves, or with other couples - your choice. We dined with the other couple that we were cruising with (Nancy and Tony) all of the nights except for the last one - that one, we took a table for two and had a very leisurely dinner. Enjoy - it's one of the reasons why we love to cruise!
hearts12 Posted June 9, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted June 9, 2010 thank you, is there a long wait for a table?
nobody000 Posted June 9, 2010 #4 Share Posted June 9, 2010 We were lucky and didnt have much of wait. about 5 mins was the most. but it depends on the times you go..they say 7pm is the most popular. The hostess on the Glory were the best!! just a lil side note! lol
A&Jfamily Posted June 20, 2010 #5 Share Posted June 20, 2010 thank you, is there a long wait for a table? We just got off the Glory and did not like anytime dining. 2 of the 4 night we used it, we were able to walk right in (only 4 of us that night) and had a 5 minute wait (5 of us). The other two night, we waited 30 minutes (showed up @ 6:45), and the last night, an hour wait (showed up at 6:20). I think it might work ok for a party of 2, but it is just so unpredictable whether or not a table will be free.
