Upgraded to Conceirge Class: One or Two Credits?

We originally booked and paid for a 1B balcony cabin. But due to a recent price drop, we called X and was eligible to upgrade to a CC cabin. Does this still count as 2 cruise credits toward Captain's Club?

This will earn you 2 credits for your trip. 1 for the cruise and one for c.c.

I agree, it's two credits. If this were a new booking, there would be no question. My information (subject to correction) is that even if you booked the 1B and managed to get a free upgrade into CC, they count the room sailed in, not necessarily the room paid for, so even in that case you would have received 2 credits as well.

Thank you both, for the replies. That's what I thought too -- they should count the cabin sailed in, not paid for.

Yes, you will be earning the points coordinated with the room you are assigned. You get the points after the sailing, so if you change 5 times, only the final room category is important.:)
