jet ski in St Maarten?

Does anyone know if there is an age requirement for renting a jet ski at Orient Beach in St. Maarten, or if you have to show a drivers licence? I haven't had any luck getting an answer on the port page. Thanks.

When we were there you had to be over 18 to ride alone, kids could ride and drive but an adult had to be on the jet ski with them.
