BeyondKen Posted June 15, 2010 #51 Share Posted June 15, 2010 I am going to sell my 100 shares of Carnival stock, and book a Royal Caribbean cruise.
glrounds Posted June 15, 2010 #52 Share Posted June 15, 2010 Just did a "mock" booking on a studio cabin on NCL's EPIC for March 2011, when I would most likely be cruising . . . $1,164.30 w/all fees and taxes. This is, of course, through their website, which I never do even with Carnival. This seems to be slightly less than a 1A on the SPLENDOR, but would require AIR to Miami which would blow it out for me. I book last minute (3-5 days before the cruise) and through a website that frequently has blocks of cabins it needs to "dump", so the true test of this new Carnival pricing will be when I want a cabin on the SPLENDOR or the SPIRIT just before the cruise date. :)
