Fred C Posted February 4, 2005 #1 Share Posted February 4, 2005 Will I be getting luggage tags even though I booked my own airflight to San Juan to board the AOS?
dougp26364 Posted February 4, 2005 #2 Share Posted February 4, 2005 yes, the luggage tags aren't put on before your flight, they're put on before you give you luggage to the porters. If you have E-docs just show the porter your docs (which have your cabin number on them) and they'll fix luggage tags for you luggage. Every piece of luggage has to have a RCI luggage tag with your cabin number on it. Otherwise, they wouldn't know what cabin to deliver your bags too. Fred C Posted February 4, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted February 4, 2005 Doug, thanks for responding. I guess I wasn't clear. I wanted to know if luggage tags are sent to me when I get my documents even though I booked my own air.
M&M Hayden Posted February 4, 2005 #4 Share Posted February 4, 2005 We're sailing in 22 days on the Jewel and booked our own air.....we got luggage tags with our docs.
springtxbill Posted February 4, 2005 #5 Share Posted February 4, 2005 Having just gone on the Empress for 12 days without one of my bags, I would put the tags on the bag before my air flight into San Juan. It will catch peoples's attention that you are on a cruise and which one. They had forwarded my bag to St. Maarten to catch up with us, but it ended up sitting there forover 3 weeks until someone noticed it.
TheWog Posted February 4, 2005 #6 Share Posted February 4, 2005 Yes, we received 4 luggage tags in our document book when it came. We booked our own air as well.
