Suites on Ecstacy

Hi everyone.

I have an aft balcony on the Ecstacy and am considering upgrading to a suite. I am interested in your comments?

Verandah unobstructed?

GS on the Upper?

Thanks in advanced!

Verandah OS is no bigger than the balcony cabins sizes on the newer ships. The balcony was so small we had to sit sideways.

I haven't had one of the Verandah suites, but I've seen them, and IMO, they're not worth the money. On the newer ships those cabins would be a standard balcony cabin. And the balcony is crazy smal, and not private.

We had an ES on the Ecstasy (one of the GS cabins with the extended balcony), and I will never not book the ES again if it's an option - that balcony alone was amazing. It's a lot of extra room compared to a standard balcony cabin, and the ES has one of the biggest balconies on any Carnival ship. Its worth depends on how much more it is for you to upgrade. We love aft cabins, but I'd choose that ES anytime!

we had a GS on Fascination(sister ship) last month and love it. it wasn't and extended balcony but still had plenty of room(70 sq ft). the room itself was 345 sq ft. we got the upsell fairy call about a week before we sailed and upgraded from an OS to the GS for $250. well worth it from what i've read about the OS cabins on the fantasy class ships.

We were in V3 on the Ecstasy and it was not worth the money we paid......especially to be considered a "suite"(I am very short and my little legs fit perfectly on the balcony, but my hubby...that was another issue:eek: )....that was before she went into drydock and got her new balconies........we have an Aft balcony booked for Feb and I wouldn't trade it for anything.....thinking it will be great.....and a heck of a lot cheaper than what we paid before.
