Carnival and princess

Does Princess acknowledge your past cruise history with Carnival at all (past guest/Platinum)? Thinking of cruising on Princess in Alaska and have only cruised Platinum...hard to give up the advantages but want more variety in itinerary.

We did the Crown Princess after 2 CCL - no one acknowledged the Carnival cruises. You being platinum might make the difference though. Call princess and ask them.

You can get past guest rates, but that's it.

No loyalty perks are interchanged.

Wish our platinum status would carry over but so far not.

 

Maybe when they make changes we will be able to do that.
