Samantha94 Posted June 20, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 20, 2010 We traveled Oceania to the Mediterranean a few years ago and at that time we were allowed to bring alcohol back on the ship from ports visited and it wasn't confiscated so that we could take it to our cabin and enjoy. Does anyone know if this policy is still allowed? We are going on the Vikings cruise June 30th and thought it would be nice to pick something up in Dover before boarding the ship. Also, we are cruising solo this time as our friends booked too late - do a lot of people use the CC signs to identify with others and meet up? Mura Posted June 21, 2010 #2 Share Posted June 21, 2010 Liquor is still allowed! I haven't particularly noticed CC signs on our Oceania cruises but maybe that's because I've always spent more time on the yahoo board in the past! Just because I didn't see them doesn't mean they weren't there.

In any search engine, type in "liquor/ wine shops in Dover, UK" (without the quotes). Should get several hits along with maps.
