Tampa Port

Not right by the port. The port is in a night life area called Channelside so I think a liquor store would be bad for business. But if you are coming from the airport, you should be able to stop along the way.

Happy sailing! :D

Ask the cab driver to take Kennedy instead of 275 to the port. It will take a bit longer but you will pass at least 2 liquor stores on the way. Keep in mind you can't buy alcohol until 11am on Sundays.

If you are just buying wine, any grocery store will work too.

Yep, several liquor stores on the way from the airport to the port. Like tbjl24 said though, be aware that you can't buy liquor until 11 A.M. on Sunday, if you're sailing "Legend".

GREAT ship, and wonderful port.

Have a super cruise.

There is a wine store at Channelside called Wine Designs. If you go down the sidewalk toward channelside from the port, you'll notice a hallway that goes to the interior and it's right along there before you get to the courtyard. They have a pretty good selection of wines and they've been very friendly and helpful so if you have any questions about what to buy, I'm sure you can ask them for suggestions.

There is a wine store at the port as a PP mentioned. Small store with a good selection though. The best liquour store on the way to the port from the airport is Total Wine & Spirits...it's on Dale Mabry just North of 275 (in the same plaza as Home Depot and Target). HUGE store with a great selection of wines & liquour and excellent prices.

The closest one to downtown otherwise is next to the Walmart Neighborhood Market on Kennedy...which is a $3 cab ride from anywhere downtown.

I also have a question about the TAmpa port. This is our 1st cruise and will be leaving from the Tampa port on Thursday. Were do we go and what do we do when we get there? What time should we get there?

thanks
