VD vs VF

Thought I would start this on my own because I kinda got the upgrade thread off track and know that, that can be annoying. Anyway I have gotten some advise regarding balcony size and if a quad was what I needed. The answer is "yes" there are 4 in our party (the advise was to change from Verandah deck VF5053 to a VD on Upper Promanade) found that while the balcony may be larger on the "Upper Promanade" you are also directly below many public areas and I have read this can be loud with chair scrapping and other noise issues. I suppose my question is "Am I right"? lol

I know, I know even for me reading this back sounds like a "you had to be there story"

This is by the way on the Zuiderdam correct? Then no, the Upper Promenade is below the Veranda Deck (5) and above the Promenade Deck. Some of the VD's are over the dining room but that should not be an issue.
