angiebabes Posted June 27, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 27, 2010 Hi everyone! A question for experts - We are travelling on Oceana 31/1/11 Barbados to Acapulco via Panama Canal and i have said yes to a cabin upgrade if available. When do we find out if we have one? I presumme its before we get our e-ticket and suitcase labels as luggage will be left outside the room printed on them? We are very excited about this cruise and an upgrade would be the icing on the cake!! Ventura 26 Feb 2010 Azura 23 Dec 2011:)
steelerannie Posted June 27, 2010 #2 Share Posted June 27, 2010 We've also said "yes" to an upgrade if one becomes available for this cruise!! I'm not holding my breath though! We are really looking forward to it.
bigpete47uk Posted June 28, 2010 #3 Share Posted June 28, 2010 Angiebabes, We had an upgrade on Oceana last year, paid for unfortunately, but it was rather late in the day and we were given our replacement luggage labels when we arrived at the terminal. LEESRE Posted June 28, 2010 #4 Share Posted June 28, 2010 Don't hold your breath, they aswk most people this, would you like an upgrade if one becomes available, we have done 40 cruises and had 1 upgrade.!!!
CASPALL Posted June 28, 2010 #5 Share Posted June 28, 2010 We hoped when we became Gold passengers (3 cruises ago) that it would encourage the upgrade fairy, but no chance! Good luck though! Caryl
Adammara Posted June 28, 2010 #6 Share Posted June 28, 2010 We did 28 P&O cruises, upgraded on 2 occasions, but had to pay for them. Inside on Arcadia to balcony £50, a bargain Balcony to mini suite on Ventura £500, a lot cheaper than the 'real' price! RICHARD
CASPALL Posted June 28, 2010 #7 Share Posted June 28, 2010 Our offer was prom deck on Artemis (overlooking prom -people walking past cabin) for £100! We already had a nice cabin - albeit obstructed view on the deck below. We said no thanks! Caryl
