Accurate list of cocktails available on Equinox?

Hello, fellow cruisers!

Not long ago, a CruiseCritic member ("ottawapuppy"/Mike), who had cruised on the Solstice in 2010, did all of us huge favor by providing a link to a site where he has 37 pages full of photos of Solstice bar menus:

==> http://schplinky.smugmug.com/Solstice-2010/Bar-Menus/12454637_Aaaum#891894624_SCNbe

It took quite a while, but I manually copied (into a MS Word document) almost all of the cocktails (i.e., mixed drinks) listed as available at various bars aboard the Solstice. [The list will be visible later in this message.]

I hope to be aboard -- not the Solstice, but the Equinox -- later this year. The purpose of this thread of mine, therefore, is to ask those of you who have sailed aboard the Equinox to let me know if all the cocktails on the Solstice menus are also on the Equinox menus.

Before I get to the main list, however, I want to isolate three smaller groups of cocktails and ask a question about each of the groups.

First, I would like to know if the Equinox's "daily specials" are the same as those on the Solstice. Here is the Solstice list (at $5 each):

(Sunday) London Ice Tea ... (Monday) Yellow Jacket ... (Tuesday) Big Apple Martini ... (Wednesday) Full Moon Margarita ... (Thursday) Old Temptation ... (Friday) Metropolitan ... (Saturday) Red Sand.

Second, I would like to know if the Equinox's Molecular Bar has the same options as the Solstice's Molecular Bar. Here is the Solstice list (at $12 each):

Coming Up Roses ... Berry Patch ... Cazarita ... Dragonfly ... Hawaiian Lava ... South of the Rio ... Tanned Russian ... Watermelon Felon ... Pisco Cocktail ... Ginger Mojito ... Autumn Breeze ... Lucky Cat.

Third, I would like to ask if, for some reason, any of the following widely known cocktails would NOT be available on the Equinox. (They are not listed on the Solstice menus.) ...

Black Russian ... Harvey Wallbanger ... Whiskey Sour ... Manhattan ... Brandy Alexander ... Sidecar ... Singapore Sling ... Stinger ... Zombie ... Tom Collins ... Blue Hawaii ... Daiquiri ... Link Up ... Orange Tundra ... Rum Swizzle ... Tequila Sunrise ... Bloody Mary ... Mimosa ...

French Connection ... Paradise Cocktail ... Hayride ... Bay Breeze ... Goldeneye ... Four Men in a Boat.

Thanks, in advance, for your replies to the questions, above and below! Please add any other comments that you'd like to make! [Today, I hope to start several separate threads -- similar to this one, but for other categories of beverages -- instead of lumping everything into one thread. I think that lumping together everything would be overwhelming, and few people would want to look at it. Please help me on the other threads too, if you can!]

Here now is the list of additional cocktails on the Solstice's menus. Are all of these available on the Equinox too? (By the way, the numbers after the items' names are the prices.)

Thanks for your posts. As a side issue, I'm wondering about just a shot of liquor. For example, by husband's defination of a martini is just gin. We're thinking of the classic package and wondering if he can get his kind of martini (not in the martini bat) as an under $8 drink at the other bars. They list various brands of gin in the classic package so wondering if this is a valid drink. Looking forward to the resposes you get.

Hello, fellow cruisers!

We are just off the June 14 Equinox cruise to the Eastern Mediterranean. The "daily specials" are the same.

PS: If anyone would like to express an opinion about the Molecular Bar cocktails (which to avoid, which should not be missed, etc.), that too would be appreciated!

The Ginger Mojito was my favourite at the Molecular Bar. We finally tracked down the ginger liqueur they use and will try to make some at home.

Lee had the Cazarita with the chipotle foam. It was a bit too spicy for me, but he liked it.

Go when it is not busy so you can get a chance to chat with the bartender, she will explain all the ingredients, preparations etc.

They list drinks on bar menus as an accommodation and for marketing. They'll have the liquor to make just about any drink you can imagine on board. So if you have a favorite bring the recipe along with you.

The martini's served in the martini bar are around $10 and are large martinis (4 oz more or less). They serve smaller martinis in other bars from a lower price and I've read that the martini bar will make smaller martinis on request for under the $8 price. Might have an impact on which brands of gin are available too at the lower price.
