Captain Carnival Posted June 28, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 28, 2010 I don't know if anyone ever posted this before, or even knows for that matter, but what company does Carnival use for cave tubing?
mboatman Posted June 28, 2010 #2 Share Posted June 28, 2010 I posted this in the carnival cruise section also: They were the best!! The 'beat up buses' were only for a 200 yard drive over a hill to get from their parking lot to where you get your tubes, the drive from port to the site was in a new tour bus. The size of the group was only 10 for us, they are NOT allowed more than 12 to a group (per tour guide). The tubes used were a lot better, they had different sizes, depending on the person and has had grips, not the old tire tubes. Unlike cave tubing dot com, we went through two caves, not joining in the river after the first cave. They kept us joined up for the first cave but allowed us to choose if we wanted to go through the second joined together or alone, we chose alone, made for a very nice experience. As far as people falling off their tubes, didn't see any of that, but the guide took very good care of us and kept a good eye on everyone. Cave tubing dot com busted through the second cave at record speed, would not have enjoyed them. Sorry! PS - we went on the Legend around 5/12/2010. Water was low, but the tubes we used, you didn't need to worry about butts up, they floated above the rocks nicely.
Grits53 Posted July 1, 2010 #3 Share Posted July 1, 2010 I posted on the other thread that I believe Carnival uses Jaguar Paw.
