7 mile beach water clarity?

The last time I was in GC, we did Dexter's Tour. It was great, but was wanting more beach time.

Was wondering if 7 mile beach has that perfectly clear water as did Sting Ray City.

Looking for calm waters for an easy swim or float.

Assuming good weather, water on 7 mile beach is very clear.

Water is some of the best I've seen for carity and the sand is great on seven mile beach.

Was at public beach on 7 mile beach 2 weeks ago. Water was clear, great snorkeling, it was clearer than in cozumel.

It must depend on where you are on the beach and the weather, bc when I was there in early December I couldn't see a thing. And since the bottom is perfectly sand where I was (Royal Palms) there wasn't any fish to be seen (no coral/rocks, no fish). Asked the guy renting out the snorkel gear (though we had our own with us) and he said there wasn't anything in the way for snorkeling in the area.
