Cab Ride

We will be going on our first cruise on May 8 on the Victory. We have decided to go to Paradise Beach and are so excited.

I have some questions I hope can be answered:

When you get off the ship, where are the Cabs?

Are they all safe or is there a way to distinguish the good ones from the bad ones?

How far of a drive is it?

Oh and 1 question about the water...is the water usually calm, no waves? It appears that way on the pictures and that is what I am looking for. I just want to lay on a raft and just float.

Thanks!

The Victory usually docks at the Puerta Maya pier. There will be a line of cabs waiting for you when you disembark. They are all safe. It's about 5 miles to Paradise. The cab fare will be $12 for up to four passengers. The water is almost always very calm. Definitely a beach for just floating around!
