TwoGrills Posted July 1, 2010 #1 Share Posted July 1, 2010 Sailing in about 2 weeks and have booked the dolphin swim encounter at 12:30 in Cabo. Will there be enough time on either end to take a quick tour of Land's End on our own? Will we be able to get off the ship easily prior to the dolphin swim since it is a tendered port? The only opening for the dolphin tour was at 12:30 so we took it... Thanks... getting excited :)

TwoGrills Posted July 2, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted July 2, 2010 Sorry, the dolphin thingy is 1 1/2 hours long... I have no idea what time we have board the ship at each port, that would be nice to know ahead of time...

It is a short walk down the sidewalk to the Dolphin facility. Last tender from pier is 5:30 ship (6:30 local) so yes...you will have time after the Dolphin thingy to browse since it should be finished about 2:00 local (1:00 ship). The Dolphins in PV is much better. We did this excursion last July and we believe that it was the best excursion ever. The more money you spend the more time in the water with the dolphins. The photos are really expensive but we bought them anyway. You get a nice buffet lunch. We did the $130pp but did not realize there was a $179pp. This was the absolute highlight of our cruise. TwoGrills Posted July 6, 2010 Author #7 Share Posted July 6, 2010 So it seems that getting off the ship well before our paid tour of the dolphins isn't going to happen then? I am thinking a late breakfast that day would be good and then hopefully have time to see Land's End by boat somehow would be nice.
