traveler11 Posted July 1, 2010 #1 Share Posted July 1, 2010 HAL allows you to bring wine on board for use in your room for with an $18 corking fee at dinner. I don't see any limits. Hmmm
jtl513 Posted July 1, 2010 #2 Share Posted July 1, 2010 No limits. Bring on as much as you like from every port. The corkage applies in any public area, not just the MDR.

So if we run through all of our wine in just a few days we'll be allowed to bring more wine on the ship at each port? That would be awesome! SRH Posted July 3, 2010 #5 Share Posted July 3, 2010 It's probably unofficial, but my girlfriend brought two bottles of wine with her and did not incur any fee. Rather than taking a bottle to dinner, or leaving it with the staff to pour for her, she took a single glass of wine with her from our room; still no fee. We did have to call to get new glasses after she abandoned the entire supply for our room, but it was no problem.
Je Maintiendrai Posted July 3, 2010 #6 Share Posted July 3, 2010 HAL will even uncork your wne for you at their bars if you forget to bring a corkscrew. HAL does offer very good pricing on wine, and it really doesnt pay to buy at ports(at least in Alaska)
